Mr. Split is a nationally recognized designer and presenter of green workshops and lectures since 1971. He will be presenting various herbal creations you can make from your own gardens.

Speaker: Anna Holmes, owner of Flowers by Anna.
Anna will demonstrate various methods of drying and preserving flowers which will be followed by floral designs using the preserved materials.

Speaker: Yvonne Capella
Yvonne is an experience floral designer, flower show judge and a very engaging speaker. Small groups of club members will create 3 different types of designs prior to the meeting. Yvonne will critique them sharing tips which will help us with our designs.

Speaker: C.L. Fornari, plant geek and artist who got pulled into garden communication in 1995. Author or 8 books, speaker, radio show host, and garden consultant.
Learn which vegetables provide the largest harvests, discover how edible flowers can be used to enliven meals, and hear how to use all of those zucchinis.

Speaker: Jana Harris of Essex Foray is a certified wild mushroom food safety expert and member of the Boston Mycological Club.
Originally from Czechoslovakia, Jana grew up foraging mushrooms with her aunt and brings a lifetime of knowledge and passion to her work. Jana will take us on an exploration of fungi and discuss their vital roles in garden ecosystems.

PROGRAM: “CONTAINER GARDENING WITH HYDRANGEA”
Speaker: Linda Coven, owner of Strictly Hydrangeas
Ms. Coven will talk about the secrets/tips to create beautiful long-lasting containers to adorn your patio, porch or deck using hydrangeas as the thriller adding in combinations of filler and spillers. You will also learn the benefit of planting your containers using the Bag-in-Pot or Pot-in-Pot System.
